Watson’s Hat Shop has recently been chosen to be the official hat maker for the new Netflix original western film series “Godless,” a limited period drama series from the Out of Sight duo of Steven Soderbergh and Scott Frank.
Written, directed and executive produced by Frank, Godless is a Western set in an 1800s New Mexico mining town. The project is set to film in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The series is available for viewing on Netflix.
Michelle Dockery, the “Downton Abbey” star has been cast in the female lead with co-stars Jeff Daniels and Jack O’Connell.
Godless centers on the blood feud between Daniels and O’Connell’s characters — former partners with a paternal bond whose relationship has turned sour. Daniels’ quest for vengeance leads him to a town whose denizens are entirely female, with Dockery as a rancher in a different location who offers O’Connell refuge.
